Pass By: Mooloolaba Beach, Parkyn Parade, Mooloolaba, Queensland 4557 Australia

Recently voted the number sixth best beach in Australia by Tripadvisor, Mooloolaba Beach is known as one of the most beautiful beaches on the Sunshine Coast.

Pass By: Point Cartwright, Pacific Boulevard, Mooloolaba, Queensland Australia

Flanked on one side by the ocean and the Mooloolah River on the other, Point Cartwright is a stunning beach, located at the base of the headland at the northern end of Kawana Beach. See the iconic Point Cartwright lighthouse and ocean themed mural-painted reservoir.

Pass By: Alexandra Headland Beach, 98/110 Alexandra Parade, Alexandra Headland, Queensland 4572 Australia

Alexandra Headland has a relaxed and laid back atmosphere that complements the soothing rolling surf and inviting beaches. Alexandra Headland's main attraction is its magnificent coastal frontage of beach, headland and parks extending for kilometres north and south.

Pass By: Mudjimba beach, Unnamed Road, Mudjimba QLD 4564, Australia

Old Woman Island (or Mudjimba Island) is located 1km off the coast. There are a number of Aboriginal legends abound about the Island. One has it, the Island was the result of an epic battle between two men, Coolum and Ninderry, and a woman called Maroochy. The end result was that Coolum's head was knocked off and ended up in the ocean, creating Mudjimba Island. Mount Coolum, seven kilometers to the north, is now flat topped due to the lack of a head!
There are various other legends involving Aboriginal women living on the island until old age, hence the "Old Woman" name.

Went on the whale watching boat ride we saw so many whales it was so amazing, funny commentary from our skipper and co skipper, boat nearly full of passengers which was brilliant to see, fun few hours on the water, would highly recommend this tour, we have now done 2 different tours with this company and would book again with them in a heartbeat.

A well run, fun experience. Staff (skipper, deckie, and even the booking box people) were fun, courteous, and efficient. The boat ride itself was amazing. and it didn't take long to sight a whale. We tracked along next to it and her calf for what might have been an hour (too awed to check my watch) . We were 3 generations and we all had a ball. Other passengers also seemed exhilarated and delighted. Thanks. We highly recommend this operation. .

We had a brilliant Father's Day with Adventure Rafting. Lots of thrills on the safe, speedy boat and lots of whale sightings, including a gorgeous calf. Brendan our captain was respectful of the whales, full of interesting info, kind with every passenger and put the 'adventure' into our Sunday. Definitely recommend this operator, captain and tour, plus our 10-year-old loved it. She couldn't stop smiling for the whole 90 mins.

Brandon is amazing, his local knowledge is brilliant and he has a great way of sharing it. He is a funny bloke and this makes the trip even more enjoyable. Brandon adapts the ride to suit the passengers and we had such a blast, the hour seems to go so quickly. There’s time to look for turtles and enjoy the amazing scenery before having more fun on the way back. My face hurts from smiling so much. Just do it!!!

We had such a memorable experience watching the whales breach and frolick in the water. Aaron was fantastic in spotting the whales and ensuring we got to see plenty of action, as well as knowing the answers to all things whale related. Thank you for a wonderful experience, we’ll be back for more!
